Shanghai Winters

We've been back in Shanghai for about 45 days and it's been overcast with rain and drizzle for what must have been at least 40 of them. Spring and Fall in Shanghai are quite nice, summers are hot, but the winters are just nonstop chill-your-bones dampness. And the lack of central heating in many buildings does not help matters.

What does help matters: biang-biang noodles, spicy beef noodles, dumplings, and chicken soup, along with the occasional bowl of homemade chili.

Looking forward to being done with February, though.
